As the seasons change, I do too

The changing seasons are like the changing of the guard that sustains us. Boundaries may change. The people and the places we find ourselves in change too. Allowing this change means accepting and letting go of what no longer serves us, even when change feels uncomfortable. It’s letting go of friendships we have outgrown to make space for meaningful relationships. The friction unearthed in moments of change is the sign that allows us to grow. The signs are the arrows pointing to a new direction. A new direction that is both unknown and embraces a newly found comfort in keeping our values close-knit.

Like the changing of the fall leaves, what are you shedding this season? Is it people, places, beliefs, or the weight of old patterns?

A gentle approach may meet frightening demands of change. Ask: What does change mean? Is it a steer in the right direction? A meeting point to a new chapter in your narrative? Is change an opportunity for deep reflection?

For me, change is all-encompassing, a sign of where I have been and where I am going. Change is the season I embrace for the hope of an aligned version of who I am.
